Stratasys recently launched its newest addition to its professional line of meedical-grade printers - the J5 Digital Anatomy Printer . While the currebt J5 MediJet offers incredibly detailed full-color anatomical models, the new J5 DAP extends possibilities with the ability to use Digital Anatomy materials.

WHAT MAKES DIGITAL ANATOMY 3D PRINTERS DIFFERENT ?

Stratasys offers advanced Digital Anatomy materials such as BoneMatrix, GelMatrix, TissueMatrix, and RadioMatrix. The DAP material family provides anatomical realism varying softness, flexibility, and density to mimic real human bone and tissue characteristics. These materials are used by surgeons worldwide to help them prepare for complex surgical procedures.

THE VALUE - COMPACT AND AFFORDABLE

The J5 DAP is half the footprint in size and is half the cost of the current J850 DAP. Offering bio-compatible, multicolor anatomical materials and impressive bio-mechanical accuracy, the new J5 DAP is a premier choice for medical professionals looking to enhance education and pre-surgical training.
With Digital Anatomy creator in GrabCAD Print Pro, you have the power to costomize multiple configurations for anatomical models. The J5 DAP is positioned to help drive new innovations that will optimize new medical products and procedures. In addition, this printer helps train surgeons outside the operating room which attains better patient outcomes and reduced costs of sergery.
SMALL PRINTER--POWERFUL SOLUTIONS
J5 DAP is an excellent economical choice for labs with small spaces. Although the machine is small, the output is not. This printer uses a radial coordinate system as apposed to the traditional cartesian system. Its large rotating tray can accommodate multiple medical-grade models in a single printr.
Modern rotational printing allows for shorter printing paths, faster prints, and better quality. The static peint head takes the motion out of the print head and allows for consistent material jetting, resulting in quiet printing and outstanding print quality. Using LED UV technology, you can expect over 10K working hours with minimal maintenance and calibration. The J5 DAP has 6 material channels (2 cartridges per channel for hot swap) and user 1.1 Kg cartridges.
